Nature tourism product development seminar in Latgale, 26th April 2011

On 26th April this year in museum “Andrupenes lauku sēta” was held second seminar about nature tourism product development. 34 tourism businessmen, tourism information center employees and other interested took part in this seminar.

During this seminar Viesturs Vintulis from LU Faculty of Biology Museum of Zoology during the seminary spoke about bats and the opportunity to manage monitoring without disturbing them. In addition Mihails Pupins from Daugavpils Zoological garden spoke about how to without forgetting about protection use frogs, toads, newts and snakes making and developing tourism offers.  In conclusion of this seminary every participant of this seminar went through Andrupene marsh trail, explored Andrupene marsh plants, animals and gained practical insight into the nature "monitoring" organisation process.

Thank you all, who took part in the seminar! We hope that everything heard, seen and learned during the seminar will give a new inspiration in tourism range diversification and will increase nature tourism product development.
